real food. real life.
Just a tiny note here to be a bit thankful for the wonderful people in my life. Family and friends are truly what keeps us strong and happy. I feel so blessed to have such amazing support surround me. To the many wonderful people in my life, near and far, close and acquaintance, family and friends, thank you. You have helped shape a life for myself that is both happy, healthy, and full of love and smiles. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I want to hug you all and tell you how amazing you are. I hope you are enjoying a cozy thanksgiving weekend and know how appreciated you are.
We all have so much to be thankful for. Take a moment to cherish the love and laughter you have in your life. Give the ones you couldn't live without an extra special squeeze and a smile to show your love and appreciation.
Happy Thanksgiving all!
Total Time: 15 minutes
4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries (choose local!)
1 cup maple syrup
1 cup fresh apple cider (Noggins Farms makes a ton this time of year!)
1/4 cup orange juice, with pulp, not from concentrate
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
What to do:
1) Combine all ingredients in a pot. Bring to a boil.
2) Turn heat to low once the berries start popping. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
3) Remove from heat and store in refrigerator until ready to eat!
We really cooked these things. From scratch. On weeknights. And we even had time to do the dishes.
They have real, simple ingredients that you'll find in your cupboards. They're healthy and delicious. No lies.
