real food. real life.
If you haven't noticed yet, we eat roasted veggies with almost every meal. Lee hasn't been loving the turnip as much, as we have so much of it with our CSA, so I had to figure out another way to serve it. Added a few extra spices and they were delicious!
Total Time from start to finish: 35 minutes
Turnip, peeled and cut into wedges or long fries
drizzle of Oil
Sprinkle of Sea Salt/Pepper
A good 5-7 shakes of: Paprika, Chilli Powder, Chilli Flakes, Cumin
Spritz of a quarter Lemon
1) Mix all ingredients well, either in a bag, bowl or on a cookie sheet.
2) Arrange cajuned-turnip on cookie sheet flat, not overlapping. Bake for 30 minutes or until tender.
We really cooked these things. From scratch. On weeknights. And we even had time to do the dishes.
They have real, simple ingredients that you'll find in your cupboards. They're healthy and delicious. No lies.
